7th January 2008 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 3-4 foot rough surf Air Temperature: 8ºC Sea Temperature: 8ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: A lovely blast in westerly winds. Started off with my 4.5m and little wave board and had a good time on that. Lots of nice fast runs up to the estuary and back, some nice jumps too. S imon Joined me with his 5.2m sail but it was too big so he went back in and changed down to a 4.7m. Once he was back on the water the wind seemed to eases a little so I changed up to my bigger board and now had much more power in the ulls and was able to point a little higher so had a few runs out the back where the waves were big and bumpy. perfectly powered though, fairly steady winds and even the sun put in an appearance. |
